Stormwater Management Program Survey

As part of our ongoing effort to improve our outreach efforts, we invite you to participate in our online Survey below:

July Stormwater Tip of the Month

With the Fourth of July fireworks come reminders to keep your pets indoors, safe from the loud noises—you can also protect our waterways from pet waste: frequently pick up pet waste from your yard, avoid accumulation of manure in animal pen areas, and carry pet waste bags while walking your dog and dispose of it in a trash can. Explore the BMP guides on this page to learn more about stormwater pollution prevention.

July Water Conservation Tip of the Month

True or false: handwashing dishes uses less water than a fully loaded dishwasher? In most cases, using the dishwasher conserves more water than washing dishes by hand. Visit your City’s Water Conservation webpage (Buellton or Solvang)) or the County of Santa Barbara’s Water Wise website to learn more about water conservation measures you can implement at your home or business.
